This shot was made for a famous pastry magazine in France and was published in their issue of March 2015. The shooting was on site with a simple light tent and 2 speedlights.
The chocolate used in this dessert is from Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat based in Vietnam. We found the concept of travelling interesting because Their chocolate is widely used all around the world by top notch companies and Chefs.
Baba au Rhum
In this concept I tried to put in perspective the effects of alcohol. We found some pretty awesome vintage bottle in the decor of La Maison 1888 that I believe were a nice match in this scene. The final little touch was to get a reflection in the liquid poored on the right side.

Stépahne Colliet famous french chef was launching his new terrine products and he needed a fresh concept for the presentation. The work is still in progress and we are waiting for the final Labels.
