The making of Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort (Part1)

Overview of the Premier Village Phu Quoc Peninsula

Last week I had the chance to fly to Phu Quoc in Vietnam to make a video of the soon to be opened Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort managed by Accor Hotels and what a surprise!!!

Looking through the airplane window upon your arrival on this stunning island, you'll soon realize what the hype is all about. Crystal clear waters, Large forests, beautiful weather (felt even better coming from Danang where it's been raining and grey for the last 2 months).
I was lucky enough that Mr Brun sent his driver to pick me up at the brand new Phu Quoc Airport with all the the heavy equipment and while cruising on the way to the resort, I noticed how insanely fast the development of this island is going. Just a year earlier I was there to shoot another property and that's really shocking to see how it changed for the better. Accor Hotels, Starwood, IHG... all the big players are there with equally impressive properties.

The Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort was stunning, massive but what clearly sets it appart is its location. The resort is basically sitting by itself on a huge peninsula surrounded by waters that reminds me Tahiti and Bora Bora. Beach Villas, Rock Villas, Forest villas (with Monkeys!!!) in total 227 High-end villas generously spread across the entire peninsula for every tastes and so many different F&B outlets that I was happy to have 4 days to be able to cover it all.

In term of concept for this video, I must mention how pleasant it was to work with Mr Brun. We were exactly on the same page and when I offered him the script, he not only agreed straight away but also made it better! It was very clear that we didn't want to do a traditional hotel presentation, with a succession of nice visuals on sliders so to spice it up we thought that the best way to introduce this stunning property was to interview its GM so he could narrate his experience and add a sense of proximity with his audience.

Enough Talking, I'll let you enjoy our latest video project.
